This Privacy Policy explains how Serinou (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses your personal data when you visit our website and join the waitlist. It is provided in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telecommunications-Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).
The party responsible for processing personal data on this website within the meaning of Art. 4 (7) GDPR is:
Bomsdorf & Gerlinger GbR
Stresemannstraße 13
61462 Königstein im Taunus, Germany
Email: serinou.official@gmail.com
When you submit the waitlist form, we collect your email address. We use it solely to notify you when Serinou launches and to send a small number of pre-launch product updates. We do not enrich it with profile data, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Our hosting provider may collect technical access data in server log files (IP address, User-Agent, referrer, timestamp, requested URL). This data is used exclusively to ensure operation, security, and stability of the site and is automatically deleted or anonymised after at most 14 days.
We use the browser’s localStorage (not cookies) for strictly technical purposes:
No personal data is stored — only timestamps and small technical flags. This is considered “strictly necessary” storage within the meaning of § 25 (2) (2) TDDDG and therefore does not require prior consent.
This website does not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. It does not set any cookies at all.
Submissions of the waitlist form are transmitted to Formspree, Inc., 1007 N Orange St., 4th Floor, Wilmington, DE 19801, USA, which processes them on our behalf as a data processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR. Data may be transferred to and stored in the United States. The transfer is safeguarded by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
We display a public, anonymous signup counter using abacus.jasoncameron.dev. When the counter is read, the service receives only your IP address as part of the HTTP request. No personal data is sent or stored — the service only holds a single anonymous integer per counter key.
Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When fonts are loaded, your browser transmits your IP address to Google. We use Google Fonts to ensure a consistent, accessible reading experience.
If you wish to avoid this data transfer entirely, please use a privacy-preserving browser configuration or an ad-blocker that disables remote font loading.
This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. Vercel acts as a data processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR and processes only the technical access data necessary to deliver the site (IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp). Data transfer to the United States is safeguarded by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). Vercel Privacy Policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Where personal data is transferred to recipients outside the European Economic Area (EEA), this transfer takes place only on the basis of an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR) or appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding personal data we hold about you:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address listed in §1. We will respond within one month (Art. 12 (3) GDPR).
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR). A list of German supervisory authorities is available at: bfdi.bund.de.
All data submitted through this website is transmitted via TLS-encrypted HTTPS connections. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures (Art. 32 GDPR) to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, alteration, and disclosure.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the service or in the applicable law. The current version is always available at this URL. Material changes will be communicated to waitlist subscribers via email where required by law.
